The features I need that EN v.10 removed, I pretty much know by this point that they are unlikely to be implemented in another Electron app. Can't speak for others here but personally I don't see the point of migrating to another Electron app when I'm trying to move away from one. Unfortunately, I didn't get much further upon finding out it's also based on Electron like the Evernote rebuild. I was impressed by this gesture so I decided to test the app. I remember posting on their reddit sub asking for an Evernote importer, which the dev quickly made available. The developers seem to be very engaged and responsive on their blog, Twitter and Discord.Ĭheck this one out and see what you think. Some may never come, because the focus of this service is security and privacy first and foremost. It doesn’t have all of Evernote’s functionality, but it’s gaining new features all the time. It’s designed to be private and secure by default. It looks and feels familiar, seems very responsive, and it’s cross-platform and also has mobile apps. So today I caught wind of another service that looks and feels like Evernote. Having alternatives brings changes that can be good for competition and innovation. They being said, I’m always on the lookout for something new or different. I’m hopeful and optimistic that they’ll get things back to as close to normal as I can deal with. Things are definitely getting better, but for some, it’s nowhere near close enough yet to call “done”. I know some here are tired of seeing people post messages like this, but for some of us, we’re just really struggling to get through our productivity workflows with the way things are currently working in v10.
