The interface board is fitted with an industry standard 10-way connector for power and serial control. See Harrier USB/HDMI Camera Interface Board datasheet for pin assignments and control options. Mating cable: A suitable cable is available as part of the cable kit AS-CIB-CBLKIT-003-A (see ordering information below). The interface board is fitted with an industry standard 4-way connector for VSync signal output and test pattern/reset control inputs. The HarrierControl camera software can also be used to configure the custom camera support on the Harrier USB/HDMI Camera Interface Board over the USB connection. (VISCA is a trademark of SONY corporation) Camera functions may also be controlled using the VISCA protocol over RS-485/RS-232/TTL/USB (using the Harrier Virtual Serial COM port). The USB interface serves as UVC video output, USB based control input port (for the UVC properties and Harrier Virtual Serial COM port) and optional power supply. Camera video modes, along with other functions, may be controlled by sending VISCA commands over RS-485/RS-232/TTL or the Harrier Virtual COM port (USB) or using UVC commands. On power-up the camera video mode may be selected by DIP switch settings on the board. The HDMI output is enabled when an HDMI cable is connected.

USB Video output is enabled when the camera is connected to a SuperSpeed USB 3.x host. This block camera comes with a global shutter CMOS image sensor, which allows capture of moving objects without the distortion which can occur with rolling shutters.

The Harrier 30x AF-Zoom USB/HDMI Camera (Tamron MP2030M-GS) offers 30x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom with simultaneous display of both HDMI and USB Video Class (UVC) v 1.1 output with full HD image output at 1920 x 1080p (30 fps).
